The honest FAQ.
Which phones does EzyHood work on?
Android — that's it for now. An iOS app is on the roadmap, and early-access societies will be the first to know when it's coming. If a few residents are on iPhone today, the committee can record their payments and share notices on their behalf in the meantime.
Is it on the Play Store?
Not yet. During early access we send your committee a direct Android install link (APK) and walk you through installing it — it takes a couple of minutes. A store listing is planned as we open up beyond the first cohort.
What does early access cost?
Nothing. Early-access societies use EzyHood free while we build with you. When paid plans arrive, founding societies get first — and best — terms, and we'll tell you well in advance.
How do residents join?
Your society gets an invite code. Drop it in the WhatsApp group you already have; residents install the app and join with their phone number and an OTP. No passwords, no forms, no per-resident setup for the committee.
Can maintenance be billed by flat size?
Yes — set rates per BHK type or per square foot, plus late fees. EzyHood raises the monthly demand for every flat automatically and tracks paid vs. pending for you.
Who can be an admin?
EzyHood starts with one admin role, and you can extend it to as many committee members as you need — President, Treasurer, Secretary, or anyone else you trust. No permission hierarchy to configure first.
What's next on the roadmap?
With our first societies we're refining dues, ledger and notices. Further out we're exploring assistive features — things like notice summaries, smarter due reminders and automatic ticket categorisation. None of that is live today, and we won't market it until it is.
